Join us for a pilgrimage in time

Holy Week

April 13-20, 2025

Holy Week is an invitation to enter into solidarity with Jesus and His people. Join us as we journey through the final week of Jesus’s life with literally hundreds of millions of Christians around the world.

Below are the services we are offering…

  • Join us for a unique service in which we enter into the experience of the crowds as they welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem with palm fronds and songs of praise. This service begins the journey to Jesus’s true enthronement (on the cross).

  • Join us for a communal meal and then a special service in which we remember Jesus’s final meal with His disciples. This is the evening when Jesus gave the Church the sacrament of Holy Communion and in which He demonstrated the depth of His humility in washing His disciples’ feet.

RSVP to ryan@allsaintsplacerville.org so that we can arrange a proper amount of food.

  • Join us for a traditional Good Friday service: readings, music, homily, and a time of silence at 3pm (the traditional hour of Jesus’s death).

We are also invited to enter into silence, stillness, and solitude on the campus of Iona House throughout the morning and afternoon.

For directions to Iona House, please email ryan@allsaintsplacerville.org

  • Join us for the third part of the Triduum (Maundy Thursday + Good Friday + Great Easter Vigil) that celebrates the first light of Easter. We begin in the darkness of waiting, listening to the story of salvation, renew our baptismal vows, and then welcome in Easter with bells and joyful shouts of Alleluia. It’s a beautiful and memorable experience!

  • Join us for a joyful celebration of songs, readings, sermon, Holy Communion and a whole lot of bell ringing to celebrate Jesus’s defeat of death.

We will have an Easter Egg hunt immediately following the service for kids to enjoy.
